Return & Refunds Policy

 

Returning Faulty Items

Our return and refund policies do not limit other rights and remedies you may have under law such as the Australian Consumer Law, including in respect of faulty items. Please see our Returning Faulty Items policy for more information about faulty items.

 

Amazon AU and AmazonGlobal Change of Mind Return Policy

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (including any rights in respect of faulty items), you may return most unused and unopened items fulfilled by Amazon AU or AmazonGlobal within 30 days of receipt of delivery for a replacement or full refund of the price you paid for the item if you change your mind provided you comply with the conditions below - see Replacements and Refunds. Original shipping fees for change of mind returns are not refunded. However, you may be eligible for Free Returns shipping for eligible items which display the “FREE Returns” message on the product detail page.

 

This Change of Mind Return Policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items.

 

Some items have different policies or requirements associated with them for change of mind returns. See below, under the item-specific headings, for further details. You will see specific returns information for each item you purchase in the Returns Support Centre .

 

Please also check the details for items that are not returnable.

 

Conditions applying to change of mind returns

Unless otherwise stated in this Change of Mind Return Policy, all items being returned for change of mind must be returned in the same condition in which you received the item. This means that, for change of mind returns:

 

  • New items must be returned unused, undamaged and unworn;

  • All items must not be damaged, missing parts or in unsellable condition because of customer negligence, misuse or tampering;

  • All items must not have been resized, damaged or otherwise altered after delivery;

  • Packaging must be unopened and seals intact (where applicable); and,

  • All packaging and documentation (e.g. boxes, manuals, warranty cards, certificates of authenticity etc.) must be included with the item being returned for change of mind.

  •  

Amazon AU is not required to accept change of mind returns on items outside the specified return window or change of mind returns of items that do not comply with this Change of Mind Returns Policy.

These conditions apply only to change of mind returns and do not apply to items that are returned because they are faulty.

 

Shipping for change of mind returns

For change of mind returns of item(s):

  • Eligible for Free Returns, please see that policy for instructions on how to ship these eligible items back to us - original shipping fees will not be refunded.

  • Not eligible for Free Returns, you are responsible for any return shipping costs. If your item is eligible for and is returned using a pre-paid return option, a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount ($7 for Amazon AU orders, $16 for AmazonGlobal orders). Alternatively, if you use the self ship label, you are responsible for paying the cost of return shipping.

 

Look for the "Free Returns" messaging next to the price on the detail page of an item to confirm if it is eligible for free returns.

 

Change of mind returns for specific categories

The following conditions apply for change of mind returns in specific product categories:

 

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items (such as hazardous materials, food, grocery items and pet food) are not returnable to Amazon AU. A full list of non-returnable items is available here. In some circumstances, these items may be eligible for a refund or a replacement (for example, if you receive the wrong item due to an Amazon AU error or if the item is faulty). Amazon Global Store Return Policy

Free Returns does not apply to products fulfilled by Amazon Global Store. Please see our Amazon Global Store Returns policy and Refunds policy for more information about returning Amazon Global Store items.

 

AmazonGlobal Return Policy

AmazonGlobal relates to purchases made on Amazon.com.au that are shippable to customers outside of Australia. AmazonGlobal items can take several days to reach us once you ship them. The amount will be refunded in Australian Dollars, and is according to the conversion rate at the time the refund was issued. See Refunds and AmazonGlobal International Returns for details.
